 Cannon wants to be a bat this year for Halloween. He puts in his bat-teeth and says "I want to take your blood!"

 He also really likes to pirates, especially Captain Hook!

NC State Fair 2011

 We had a great time at the fair again this year! Cannon is here riding the swings with Dennis (look closely to find them!)

 Here's Cannon riding his first roller coaster. Check he and Daddy out in the first car.

 We all got to ride the Ferris Wheel! Colt was sleeping in the baby carrier. Cannon also got to ride on a giant slide and go to the petting zoo where he fed the goats and calves carrot slices!

I think his favorite part was riding this pony. They moved pretty fast so I had a hard time getting a good picture. He said "Yee haw! I'm a cowboy!"

Dennis and I enjoyed the food the most. Dennis got a sausage, onion and peppers hoagie, I got a ham biscuit. We split a gyro and fried cheddar cheese. For dessert, I got my favorite fried Twinkie and he got the fried Pecan Pie! Cannon tasted everything and he liked the gyro and the pecan pie best!

 Last Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends Adam, Shel, Cassie and Cameron. They had a Hay mountain with slide, corn maze, corn crib (like a ball pit, but with corn kernels), a hay ride, cotton pickin', and pumpkin patch!

After swimming in the corn crib, Cannon had a diaper FULL of corn!

Cannon showing off his new tattoo! Dennis took him to a festival on Saturday. What a brave dad he was to bring Colten and Cannon to a festival by himself while I was working. I wish I had a picture. He had Colten in the baby Bjorn (a baby carrier you wear on the front) and Cannon walking. He said he got lots of unsolicited help from other moms that saw him struggling at times. They wouldn't have helped me if I was alone with the kids!

Colten liked sucking on the dogs to get him through his first car ride home from the hospital.

All dressed up and ready to go home! We left the hospital on Thursday 7/7/11. The c-section went well and I recovered quickly -- thank goodness because the hospital room was so small, we were ready to get out of there!
