Christmas at Grandma Capp's

Opening presents. . .

Thanks Grandma for all our presents!

We tried really hard to get a picture of the grandkids all together smiling with Grandma, but with 3 two-year olds, it turned out to be an impossible challenge. The bottom picture they are all there on the couch watching the movie "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur." No smiles and no Grandma, but at least they are all facing forward:)

Playing at the play area at the mall in Elyria with Grandma C our last day in Ohio.

OHIO Christmas 2010

Cannon, Dennis and Frosty!

Getting set to go down the hill!
Snow sledding! Oh what fun! Cannon loved it.
Gary, Jenny, and the twins Calvin and Catelyn
Gary pushing Calvin off on his maiden voyage alone. What a brave boy. The ride ended with a face full of snow!
Uncle Bob and Cannon. Cannon is opening his gift from Uncle Bob which was a little lantern that Cannon keeps in his bed every night to read books. What a great gift! You always seem to know the coolest things to get Bob!
What a great picture of Grandma and Grandpa!
The pictures below were taken during the celebration of Grandpa's Birthday! The kids sure had fun with those noise makers and maybe the adults had even more!

Cannon is trying to get the hang of it. He never quite mastered this skill. . .but he found a way to generate his own noise.

Grandpa Close and grandkids. . .and Gary.

Rena, Tiffany, Nick and Corrina.

Hard to get kids to smile on cue at this age.

Jenny, Gary, Grant, Calvin and Catelyn

Nick and Carina.

Grandma, Grandpa and their kids. Hard to get adults to look forward and smile at this age too, I guess:) --especially boys!

Grant and Cannon posing for a picture. . .well Grant is anyway.

Just hanging out on couch relaxing.
Checking out the cool Christmas ornaments. None broken the whole visit with 3 two year olds running around!

Trunk or Treat!

We went to a local church trunk or treat and it was perfect for Cannon to walk around and get some treats. He likes lollipops and Smarties. He also got some neat little toys too! What a great Fall weekend!

The Little Gym Halloween Party

Fishing for treats> Cannon used the stick, string and clothespin to "fish" for a whole collection of little animals and dinosaurs behind the wall. Diving through the obstacle course!

Sliding down "Magic Mountain" was Cannon's favorite activity. PUMPKIN BOWLING STRIKE!!

Striking a pose with his sword.
Saturday was a Fall festive day starting with a morning trip to Borders to listen to a witch read a Halloween story, sing songs, dance, make a mask, eat pumpkin bread, drink cider and parade around the store trick or treating. I of course didn't get any pictures because I forgot the camera in the car. . uggh! Then in the afternoon we went to a party at The Little Gym which Cannon loved so much!
